Carol D. Gurley, 70, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson SC, on June 4, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Harold W. Dean and Dorothy Shaw Morton. She was a member of Orville Baptist Church and the wife to the late Phil Gurley.
She is survived by her sons: William Thomas Gurley and Clark D Gurley as well as her sister: Jane Crocker (Tommy).
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother: Gary Dean.
The family will hold a memorial service on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Orville Baptist Church at 11am. Rev. Larry Sizemore and Rev. Broadus Moody will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday at the church from 10:30-11am.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
