Thelma Brown (2-8 Mama), 86, of Starr, SC, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018.
She was born on May 31, 1931 in Anderson, SC and was the wife to Vernon Brown (2-8 Daddy).
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children: Cindy Beasley (Joey) and Ron Brown (Angie); brother, Herbert Murphy; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Flat Rock Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Ed Hunsinger at 2pm. Burial will follow at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Church prior to the service on Friday from 1pm – 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church.
