Debra Duckett, 67, of Iva, SC, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Anderson, SC, on June 28, 1957; she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn McNeely Coker and was married to the late Jackie William Duckett for 37 years.
Debra enjoyed going to the beach and spontaneous day trips. She enjoyed Mexican Food and cooked the best ham along with many other dishes. She enjoyed spending time with her family and liked to garden. She could be caught watching NCIS any day of the week but every Sunday, she would watch the church service of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.
She is survived by her children: Jacqueline Swaney (Adrian) and Jeremy Duckett (Leah); brother: Talmadge Coker; sisters: Pamela Brewer and Dawn Shiflett; grandchildren: Tristian Roberts, William Roberts, Sara Mock, James Mock, Rebecca Duckett, Ethan Duckett, and Jeralee Duckett; great grandchildren: Brynlee Roberts and Millie Mae Lucas; and her faithful companion, Sassy.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also predeceased by her siblings: Dennis Coker, James Coker, Linda Howell, and Donna Daly.
The family will be at their respective homes and will hold a Memorial Service at Gethsemane Baptist Temple on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 6pm. A time of visitation will follow.
