Edward Leroy “Eddie” Murphy, 68, of Williamston, SC, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.
Born on June 9, 1957, he was the son of the late Samuel Murphy and Gladys Foster Murphy. Eddie was a beloved father, son and brother; known for his sense of humor, his laughter and his loyalty. His friends and family could always count on him being there in their time of need.
He is survived by his daughters: Krystal Brooke Murphy and Tiffiny Renee Murphy and his sister: Mary Bailey.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother: Samuel Eugene Murphy and David Lamar Murphy as well as his sister: Jane Brown.
A funeral service will take place at Sosebee Mortuary on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 3pm with Pastor Sam Duncan officiating.
Visitation will take place prior to the service at the Mortuary on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 1:30pm to 3pm.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
