William Gregory Perkins, 61, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, SC on May 5, 1965; he was the son of Vera Perkins McMahan and the late Guy Junior Perkins. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, he loved fishing and enjoyed bowling. He was known for carrying carpentry to a higher level. Gregory had a heart for animals with Doberman being his favorite animal with Jeff Gordon being his favorite NASCAR driver.
In addition to his mother, Vera, he is also survived by his son, Colton Perkins (Sheley Wertz); and sisters: Angela Medlock and Pamela Queen.
In addition to his father, he is also predeceased by brothers: Michael and Keith Perkins; a niece, Hope Perkins; and his grandfather, Avery Jackson.
Private family services will be held officiated by Pastor Scott Davis.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family.
