Edward Dwyane Conner, 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at his residence.
Born on February 28, 1952, in Greenville, SC, Edward was a member of the Homeland Park Church of God. He had an unwavering love for butterscotch and was always happy to share. He never met a stranger, worked for Anderson University and Anderson School District 1, and loved interacting with students.
He truly loved his family and is survived by his beloved wife, Diana Conner; son: Steve Conner (Jennifer); daughters: Julia Fielding (Cameron), Alesha Martin, and Kelly Paluska (Brian); 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and his mother-in-law: Norma Skelton.
He is predeceased by his beloved father at heart, Raymond Paul “Pepper” Pepper and his mother: Fannie Mae Burton Pepper.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorials can be given to a charity of one’s choice.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
