Raymond Herbert Hallam Jr, 86, of Belton, SC, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
Born on September 1, 1940, in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Raymond Herbert Hallam Sr and Elmira Bibeau. Raymond was a former truck driver and a member of First Assembly of God in Honea Path.
He is survived by his wife: Carol A. Hallam; son: Scott Edward Hallam; daughters: Dawn Marie Hallam, Pamela Joy Packard and Bethany Rae Leger; stepchildren: Laura Mansfield, Scott Lubniewski, Bonnie Carroll and James P. Hallam; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sons: Raymond H. Hallam III and James R. Hallam; brothers: Kenneth Hallam, Phillip Hallam and Dennis Hallam and a sister: Myra Cole.
A Memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at First Assembly of God, 5 Green St, Honea Path, with Pastors Jack Adams and Robert Koenigsmann officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday at the Church from 10am to 11am.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
