Marlon Le’Aire Richardson, 38, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
Born on August 4, 1984, in Anderson SC, he was the son of Marion Richardson and Deborah Charline Campbell. Le’Aire was loved by many.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Lori Jean Neri Richardson; stepson: Anthony V. Neri; stepdaughters: Ellaina Ryann and Trisha Aliece Neri; brothers: Brad Gunter and Charlie Gunter (Kim); sister: Sandra Deonne Robinson-Wiley; Carolyn Branyon, whom he considered his 2nd mom, his best friend/brother of 25 years: Michael “Lil Mike” Fortner.
A Memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Labor of the Fields officiated by Pastor Vernon Bagwell.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

We may have had more than our fair share of issues off and on, but our love always remained strong, keeping us bonded. I’ll never understand why this happened, why we didn’t have more time, why you had to go, just as our marriage was really starting to shine and we were finally accomplishing a wonderful life together, filled with nothing but happiness. One thing I know for sure and can promise, is that Our Life Together, Our Marriage, Our Love will ALWAYS remain most sacred to me. I will carry you in my heart and in my thoughts every moment of each day, and Our Souls will Forever be Intertwined.
