Ruby L. Scoggins July 26, 1944 - November 29, 2025

Ruby Lee Scoggins, 81, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday November 29, 2025, at her home.

Born on July 26, 1944, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Phillips and Minnie Broyles Phillips.

Ruby is survived by her Daughters: Denise Weant (Paul) and Katrina Ricketts; Sisters: Patsy Burnett and Shirley Dyar; Grandchildren: Brian Revels (Jenna), Dustin Ricketts and Garrett Ricketts; and Great-grandchildren: Pandora, New, and James.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Sister: Peggy Clements.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday December 4, 2025, at the Sosebee Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Sam Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm, prior to the service, at the mortuary.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
