Doug Bailey, 66, of Anderson, SC, on Monday, December 8, 2025, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on March 21, 1959, in Shreveport, LA; he was the son of the late James Clyde and Grace McClain Bailey. Doug was a deacon and staff member at Labor of the Field Ministries. He had a passion for building motorcycles and riding his Harley. Doug lived by his favorite verse in the Bible, Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
He is survived by his daughter, GiGi Bailey; sister, Susan Bailey Pierce; and his beloved k-9, Buddy.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by a brother, Bobby Bailey.
A Memorial Service will be held at Labor of the Field on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2pm officiated by Pastor Vernon Bagwell and Pastor Tony Keaton.
The family will greet their guests at the church on the day of the service.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
