Christopher H. Smith, 56, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at his residence.
Born on September 29, 1969, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Norene Bielecki and the late Ray Milton Smith. Chris deeply loved all his grandchildren and family. As a young man he enjoyed fishing and as his health changed, he had great enjoyment playing video games. He was a simple man and will be missed.
He is survived by his daughter: Christina Machen (David), brother: Danny Smith; sister: Lisa McAbee; grandchildren: Blake and Emma Machen; wife at heart for 20 years: Stephanie Sanders; daughter at heart: Tiffany Amber; sons at heart: Travis Manley and Phillip Sanders; grandchildren at heart: Braxton, Stella and Landon Allgood, Maddox Raylen and Ava Sanders.
In addition to his father, he is predeceased by a brother: Michael R. Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 12pm at Faith Memorial Tabernacle, 290 W. Point Dr., Anderson, SC 29624, with Pastor Nicholas Ray Smith officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the Church from 11am to 12pm.
The family will be at the home of his sister: Lisa McAbee.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
