Mary Ellen Dalton, 90 of Anderson SC passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center.
Born in Beckley, West Virginia on 19 November 1933, she was the daughter of Brooke and Hubert Lucas, and was the spouse of Bernard E. Dalton. She retired from the Cleveland Trust Bank and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.
She was preceded by her parents Brooke and Hubert, beloved husband Bernard, and her brothers Bob and Bill Lucas
She is survived by her daughter Kathryn (Dalton-Fuchs) and her husband Gregory Fuchs; brother Denny Lucas and Cindy McKinney; her sister Ruth (Gehrman) and husband Carl Gehrman; granddaughter Sarah (Fuchs-Schwerdtfeger), her husband Christopher Schwerdtfeger and great grandson Gregory.
Visitation will be held 11:00am-12:00pm on Monday, 15 July 2024 at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel followed by a service officiated by Pastor David Forro, of Cannan Baptist Church.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Cannan Baptist Church, 1834 S Murray Ave, Anderson, SC 29624
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
