Annie Hughes, 87, of Anderson SC, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson SC, on December 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Buster and Ellie Wicker and the wife to the late Haynie Hughes.
She is survived by her sons: Haynie Haskell Wicker, James Leonard Hughes, and Louie Lee Hughes (Sharon); daughters: Linda Fay Ervin (William), Ellie Ruth Sims, Evelyn Bundrick (John), and Darlene Sue Hughes; sister: Patricia Ervin; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will take place at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 3pm with Rev. Martin Foster. A private burial will follow.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the South Chapel on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 2pm to 3pm.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
