April Dawn Wood Patterson, 46, of Anderson SC, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
April leaves to cherish her memories; her parents: Terry L. and Beverly H. Wood; brother: Scott Wood (Elizabeth); children: Braxton Patterson (Brianna), Brayden Patterson (Alyssa) and Bryleigh Patterson (Lily); as well as her precious granddaughter: Lakelynn Mae Patterson.
She was predeceased by her grandparents: Cortez and Inez Holbrooks, James Floyd and Elizabeth C. Wood.
Before her illness, she was a cosmetologist; she always held it in her heart to be back with the styles she loved. Being a mother and grandmother kept her smiling even on days she didn’t feel that she could smile. Always reminding her children daily of how much she loved them.
A celebration of life will take place at Sosebee Mortuary on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 3pm officiated by Rev Butch Moore.
The family will receive friends prior to the service at the Mortuary from 1pm to 3pm.
The family will be at the respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
