Audrey B. Taylor, 82, of Anderson, SC, passed on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at her residence.
Born on November 22, 1939, in Abbeville County, SC; she was the daughter of the late James Hamon and Annie Campbell Brock; and was married to the late Richard ‘Papa Smurf’ Taylor, for over 60 years.
Audrey was a loving, caring person, who loved picking blackberries with her grandchildren. She made an art out of cutting grass and retired from Haynesworth Mill. Audrey was a helpmate to her husband, ‘Papa Smurf’ and was the co-founder of Clouds of Thunder Motorcycle Ministry. She cooked for anyone that wanted to eat. Her motto, Never Leave Hungry.
She is survived by her son, Robbie Taylor; children at heart, Jeannie Addington, Ricky Taylor, Sandra Donald, and Pam Clark; brother, Lester Brock; sisters: Carolina Sisk and Millie Dickson; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband; she is also predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
