Ben R. Fields, 64, of Anderson, SC, passed away on April 20, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House.
He was the son of the late Furman and Elsie McGaha Fields. Ben was retired from Coca-Cola, a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, and was known throughout the upstate as a guitarist.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Fields; step children: Ricky Cox (Lola), Angie Shaw, and Shannon Nash (Troy); brother, Wayne Fields (Donna); 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 22. 2017 at 1pm at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Sam Duncan.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel, from 11:30am – 12:30pm on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
