Bennie Frank Burton, 87, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born on September 22, 1934, in Edgefield, SC; he was the son of the late David Pardue and Velma Mobley Burton. Bennie was a Pentecostal minister for 69 years, served in the US Navy, attended the River of Life Church, and worked as an optician and brick mason. He was also a member of the Commanders Quartet form 1968-1974 and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Lee Burton; granddaughter, Mandie Rieser (Shane); great-grandson, Navin Ash Rieser and his loving caregiver: Geraldine Harrison.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his brothers: Charles David Burton and Arvis Rhett Burton; and half-sisters: Alice Virginia Burton Arbitelle and Eva Burton Parkman.
