Betty Ann Pruitt, 70, of Anderson SC, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born on November 30, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Earl Clinton and Betty Nichols Collins. She was the wife of 24 years to the late Bobby Pruitt. Betty was a former owner of Granny’s Grill in Pendleton, SC, she never met a stranger and loved everyone she met. She loved her grandchildren, family, the Lord and her faith.
She is survived by her children: Johnny Thomas (Angela) and Jason Thomas; stepchildren: Tim Pruitt (April) and Nicole Pruitt; brother: Leon Collins; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brother: Billy Collins.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Judah Church, 640 Hembree Rd Anderson, SC 29621 with Bishop Scott King officiating.
The family will be at the residence.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
