Billy “Bill” Findley February 21, 1936 - April 20, 2024

Billy “Bill” W. Findley, 88, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 20224 at National Healthcare of Anderson.

Born on February 21, 1936, he was the son of the late Eddie and Ruby Craft Findley, and the husband to the late Sybile Gentry Findley. Bill was a doting Papa, a loving husband and father. He believed the only hotdog was from the original Skins Thrasher, he also loved sports and dogs.

He is survived by his daughter: Carol Renee Findley; grandchildren: Darrell A. Findley, Donnie Ray Crawford, Marshall Crawford, Denise Thompson, Amy Wilson, Pamela Moss, Cristie Gaylord and Travis McMahan; 26 great-grandchilren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his children: Dennis H. Crawford, Rickey Allen Findley, and Marshall Lamar Crawford; sister: Virginia Cleveland; brothers: Marshall Findley and Donald Findley.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel with Rev. David Walters officiating. A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at the South Chapel on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 1pm to 2pm.

The family will be at their respective homes.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
