Billy Ray “Scoop” Holtzclaw, 76, of Belton, SC, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Belton, SC, on June 5, 1941, he was the son of the late Eugene Stokes and Ola Mae Cheek Holtzclaw and the husband to the late Mary Jane Holtzclaw. Scoop was retired from BASF.
He is survived by his children: Susan Elaine Redd, Tina Denise Lollis, Timothy Ray Holtzclaw, Douglas Davis, Craig Davis; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his daughters: Lee Ann Sellars and Amanda Charlene Holtzclaw; brothers: Manuel and Marshal Holtzclaw; sisters: Louise Rowland, Duke Reeves and Joyce Hughes.
A graveside service will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11am.
The family will be at their respective homes.
