Bobby Ashworth, 86, of Anderson SC passed away at Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home on Monday, March 2, 2015.
Born in Anderson County SC, the spouse to the late Juanita Eaves Ashworth, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Navy serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Bobby owned and operated Anderson Upholstery for over 40 years, and a member of High Praises Church of God.
He is survived by a son: Dwaine Ashworth, daughters: Trisha Brown, Cynthia Campbell (Wayne) and Andrea Griffin (Steve), a twin sister Betty, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and spouse he is predeceased by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Sosebee Mortuary Downtown Chapel at 1pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Rites.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at the Downtown Chapel.
The family will be at their respective homes.
