Bobby Earl Oakley, 77, of Starr, SC, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at his home.
Born in Anderson, SC on October 10, 1942; he was the son of the late Luke and Pauline Oakley. He spent his entire life working as a car dealer operating Oakley’s Used Cars.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Darline Oakley; daughters: Lynn Oakley Patterson (Jamie) and Sharon Oakley (Dawn); 7 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by a brother, Gary Oakley.
Services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Mike Harrell. Burial will follow at the New Silverbrook Cemetery.
The family will be at the home but will receive friends from 1pm to 3pm prior to the service at the Mortuary, Saturday.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.
