Bobby Ray Watt, 73, of Iva SC, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born on April 13, 1951, he was the son of his father at heart: the late James T. Blume and his mother: the late Ruby Lucille Haynie Watt Blume. Bobby dedicated 14 years of service as an instructor at Tri County Technical College, he was offered this position at 59 years old, after graduating from TCTC at the top of his class. Bobby loved fishing, video games, wood working and racing. The pride of his life was his loving wife of 31 years Cindy Medlin Watt and their little Herbie.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Amber Swafford (Carlton); grandchildren: Stephen Patterson (Aimee), and Laykin Patterson; great-grandchildren: Banks Patterson and Baby Boy Mattison.
In addition to his father at heart and his mother, he is predeceased by his son: Brandon Teasley Watt, and brother: Julian Jackie Watt.
The family will be at their respective homes.
A celebration of life will be held at Tri County Technical College Anderson Campus, 511 Michelin Blvd, Anderson SC 29625, on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11am with Speakers: Doug Wilson and Beverly McAdams.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
