Brian ‘Pork Chop’ Ray Campbell, 32, of Iva, SC was born on April 7, 1982 and passed on March 8, 2015.
‘Pork Chop’ was a graduate of Crescent High School and remained active with the FFA including the Memorial Rodeo. He was a long time member of Crescent Young Farmers and recently served as the Piedmont Region Vice President for SC Young Farmers and Agribusiness Association.
‘Pork Chop’ was a skilled tractor and equipment operator. He worked with Campbell Tree Service and Fowler Construction Company. He was also a past member of the Iva Fire Department.
He enjoyed living a life of serving others with a very generous heart and a world class sense of humor including being a practical joker.
His personality will never be forgotten and will remain in the hearts of his mother Charlene Campbell; his father Larry Campbell; his beloved grandmother Mary Forrester; 3 brothers; 2 sisters. He held a very special place in his heart for his niece and nephew Kailey and Steale Campbell as well as his other 4 nephews and a niece.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, hero, and mentor in life Ray Forrester.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Iva, on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 7pm officiated by Dr. Ralph E. Walls, Rev. Jerry Gray, and Rev. Tommy Alewine.
‘Pork Chop’ will be placed in the church at 3pm prior to the service on Thursday. The family will be present for receiving of family and friends from 5pm – 6:45pm.
Flowers are optional or memorials can be made to the ‘Pork Chop’ Funeral Fund c/o The Peoples Bank of Iva.
