Carl “Rab” Eugene Wolverton Jr, 56, of Belton, SC passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at his home.
Born on May 9, 1962 in Alliance, OH he was the son of Carl “Gene” Wolverton and Marilynn Wolverton and the husband to Justine Fabian Wolverton. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend and an avid outdoorsman.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his son: Carl E Wolverton III (Ashley McFalls); daughters: Candice Fabian (Ben Renner), and Heather Henderson(Patrick Henderson); brother: Robert “Troy” Wolverton; sisters: Becky Jewett, Debra Gabriel, Johanna Wolverton Rice, and Marian Wolverton; grandchildren: Austin Huckabaa, Tyler Huckabaa, Justin McKellar, Abbi McKellar, Chelsea Fleming, Bryson Fleming, and Addyson Henderson; nephews: Tommy Jewett, Ricky Jewett, Kenny Jewett, Blake Rice, Joseph Rice, and Zhach Wolverton; and nieces; Tori Wolverton and Bella Wolverton.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Peterson; and paternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wolverton and Mrs. Florence Wolverton.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Mount Bethel Baptist Church Family Life Center and will be officiated by Reverend Mark Krieger. The family will receive friends prior to the service and will be at the home of Johanna Rice following the service.
