Carla Armstrong, 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Rainey Hospice House.

Daughter of the late Carlos E. Mullinax and Dorothy Porter Mullinax, Carla was born on June 5, 1947, in Anderson, SC.

She is survived by her son: C. Gene Armstrong; daughter: Sylena A. Moon; brother: Thomas “Bo” Mullinax; and sisters: Fredda Worley and Barbara Rumsey; and her grandchildren: Amanda A. Price, Grant Armstrong, Keifer Moon, and Jeddah Moon.

She is preceded in death by her brother: Ricky “Baby Hughie” Mullinax; sons: David and Joseph Thomas; and grandsons: Jacob and Grayson Moon.

Services will be held at 5 pm Monday, April 18, 2022, at The Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel officiated by Pastor Sam Duncan.

Visitation will be held prior to the services from 4-5 pm Monday, April 18, 2022, at The Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.

Donations may be made to Anderson County PAWS, 1320 US-29, Anderson, SC, 29626.

The family members will be at their respective homes.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with arrangements.
