Carolyn V. James, 73, of Anderson SC passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015.
Born on December 12, 1940, in Anderson SC, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Naomi Owens, and the spouse to Douglas V. James. She was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church for 25+ years then a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple later in life.
She is survived by sons: David G, Phillip R, and Tim O. James; brothers: Marvin, Robert, Ceicil, Alfred and Charels Owens; sisters: Betty and Mary Suttles; grandchildren: Chelsea James, and Kristie Gosset; great-grandchildren: Haley James and Adam Gosset; and great-great-grandchild: Aiden O. James.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother: L.D. Owens.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery. Anyone who loved her is welcome to attend.
