Carolyn Watson Simpson, 83, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her home.
Born on March 11, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Judge Leland and Willie Mae Cross Pruitt and a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She was first widowed to the late Edmond Heyward Watson, then second widowed by the late Donald Simpson.
She is survived by her son: Marty H. Watson (Sherri); daughter: Mitzi Watson of the home; brother: Ray Pruitt (Shirley); grandchild: Cody H. Watson (Jessica); great grandchildren: Axel, Ivey and Meadow Watson; step-great-grandchildren: Rosie and Lily Phillips.
In addition to her parents and spouses, she is predeceased by 8 sisters and 2 brothers.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Providence Health and Hospice for their upmost care during this time. Private internment will take place.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
