Cathey Hiott Owens, 59, of Starr, SC passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Hospice of the Upstate.
Born on November 13, 1959 in Anderson, SC she was the daughter of the late George Drayton and Edna Inez Hiott and the wife to James Owens.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Mark Paul “Chip” Hiott, Sandy Jo Pierce, and Brook Elizabeth Hebert; brothers: Jerry Hiott, Ronnie Hiott, and Danny Hiott; sisters: Shirley Bryant, Barbara Duncan, Brenda Davis, Pamela Hiott, Ruby May, Janice Hiott, and Jeanette Hiott; and grandchildren: Miah Hebert, Jordan Phillips, Brittney Phillips, and McKenzie Phillips.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother: Derrill Hiott.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Garrett Hart. Burial will follow at Whitefield Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3pm – 5pm on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the South Chapel.
The family will be at the home.
