Charlie Paul Hicks, 72, of Belton, SC, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Gainesville, GA on January 19, 1946; he was the son of the late William Edward and Lillie Mae Patterson Hicks. He was a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Jeannie Cody; children: Carlos Hicks (Michelle) and Paula Duncan (Shane); step-children: Paul Fitzgerald and Lois Block; sisters: Edna, Joann, and Ellen; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by a daughter, Mary Ann Fant; brother, William Edward Hicks II; and great-grandson Ryan Stephens.
Services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel at 7pm. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5pm – 7pm at the Mortuary on Tuesday.
The family will be at their respective homes.
