Evangelist Claude Leaphart, Jr. 83, of Iva, SC passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.
Born in Lexington, SC; he was the husband to Mary Leaphart. Claude served as a Holiness Evangelist for nearly forty years and returned as the Produce Manage for Piggy Wiggly.
In addition to his wife; he is also survived by his step-son, Donnie Crawford; step-daughter, Joyce Morris; brother, Jimmy Leaphart; grandson, Joshua Free (Summer); great-granddaughter, Gracie Free; and nephews: James Horne (Faye) and Johnny Horne (Sandra).
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 11am officiated by Pastor James Sparks at Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Hwy 178, Saluda, SC.
The family will be at their respective homes and receive friends following the service at the Cemetery.
