Claudia Cobb Bill of Starr, SC, passed from earth to heaven on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at her home.
She was born in Atlanta, GA on Sunday, May 9, 1954, and born again in March of 1974. She was the daughter of the late Claud Pope Cobb Jr and Mary Elizabeth Mattox Cobb. Claudia faithfully loved and served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family and church family as a beloved wife, mother, Nana, sister and friend. She served as a faithful helpmeet to her husband as he served as a pastor and evangelist for most of their married life. She was a joyful tireless servant of the Lord.
She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Gary Bill; son: Cody Bill (Amy) of Ringgold, LA; daughter: Abby Almaroad (Adam) of Pendleton, SC; grandchildren: Reagan Launder (Brayden), Ryleigh Bill, Grady Bill, Claudia Grace Almaroad, Rachel Almaroad, Josiah Almaroad, James Almaroad, John Almaroad and Andrew Almaroad; sisters: Terry Wall of Raleigh, NC and Mary Emalynn Tate of Daniel Island, SC.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother: Stephen McClarty Cobb.
A celebration of Life will be held at University Baptist Church in Clemson, SC, on Monday, November 23, 2026, at 2pm with her husband Gary Bill officiating.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
