Clyde Louie Gilreath, Jr., 78, of Starr, SC passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born to the late Louie Albert (DK) and Carrie Gilreath; he was of the Baptist faith and retired after 37 years at True Temper.
He is survived by his wife Hazel Moore Gilreath; children: Louie Stephen Gilreath, Debbie Ruth Gibson, both of Anderson, SC, and Kenneth Wayne Gilreath of Charleston, SC; step-children: Mike Moore (Jane) of Abbeville, SC and Debbie Sanders of Anderson, SC; sister Dot Hood of Woodruff, SC; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.
Graveside services will be held at South Lawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11am officiated by Rev. Butch Moore.
The family will be at the home and ask that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd, Anderson, SC 29621 or The American Cancer Society, Relay for Life of Abbeville, PO Box 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648.
