Curtis Glenn Turner, 83, of Anderson, SC passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his home.
Born on April 9, 1936 in LaFrance, SC he was the son of the late JB and Susie Holmes Turner and the husband to the late Ann Turner. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force, a member of River of Life Church of God, and a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his daughters: Lana Turner Shiflet and Renee Turner Brazell; and grandchildren: Asher Shiflet, Jody Brazell, Ashley Brazell, and Caleb Brazell.
In addition to his parents and spouse, he was predeceased by his siblings: Harold “Johnny” Turner, Mildred Childress, Herman Turner, Norman Turner, Lucille Hawkins, Evelyn Palmer, Doris Landreth, and Alice Gillespie.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Dale Dyar. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12pm – 2pm, at the South Chapel.
Flowers are accepted, or donations can be made to River of Life Church of God.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
