Danial V. Clements, 53, of Liberty, SC, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 6, 2017 with his daughter, Katie, former wife, Colleen Clements-McAlister, and son-in-law, Brett Wemett by his side.
Born in Steam Boat Springs, CO on May 18, 1964; he was the son of the late Vic Luark and Verna Clements. He was a decorated E6 Sergeant Gulf War veteran. Danial served with honor and distinction with the US Army 3rd Cavalry in the first Gulf War, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for his actions in the face of enemy fire. He was a man of knowledge and wisdom.
In addition to his former wife, Colleen Clements-McAlister, as they shared 20 years of marriage; he was also survived by two daughters, whom Danial was their hero and forever will be: Brittany Clements and Katie Clements; 5 grandchildren, whom he was so very loved and cherished by: Renzor Chance, Mason Thomas, Alyssa Danielle, Naomi Claire, and Wyatt Dwayne; and his siblings, Marilyn Monical, Stan Clements, Sandy Hasting, and Linda Miller.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Mike Clements.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel at 2pm. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday at the Mortuary from 1pm – 2pm.
