Danny Ray Quarles, 74, of Belton, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at his residence.
Born in Spartanburg, SC, on September 10, 1951, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Beulah LeMaster Quarles. Danny loved model cars, motorcycles and the outdoors. His hobbies were fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children: Penny Quarles Walker (John) of Anderson, SC, Ken “Flop” Quarles of Honea Path, SC, Scarlett Quarles Small (Brian) of Lancaster, SC, and Keena Whitaker Sims (David) of Lancaster, SC; grandchildren: Blake Quarles, Samantha Brown, Alec Quarles, Kenneth Barrett, Jeffery Barrett, Cory Bell, Amber Bell Gainer, Kasey Bell- Contreras, Makynna Small, and Devin McConnell; 15 great-grandchildren he loved dearly; sister: Cindy Quarles Myers (Doug) of Honea Path, SC; brother: Wayne Quarles (Barbara) of Shoals Junction, SC; as well as many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter: Tanya Quarles and a grandson: Dustin McConnell.
A memorial service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11am.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
