Darlene W. Myers, 71, of Starr, SC, passed away on Friday February 25, 2022.

Born on January 7, 1951, in Anderson, SC, she was the widow of the late Troy J. Myers and daughter of the late Hoyt and Geneva Wood.

She is survived by her son: Donnie Myers (Penny); granddaughter: Kayla (Chris); great-grandson: Christopher; great-granddaughter: Alissa; great-grandson: Blaze; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Ronald Wood of Virginia; and Sister: Lynne Human.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday March 3, 2022, at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel, 3219 South Main St, Anderson, SC. Internment will follow the service at New Silverbrook Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday from 12pm to 2pm at the Mortuary.

Memorials can also be made to the Temple Christian Academy Scholarship Fund in Darlene’s name.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family.
