David C. Bowen April 14, 1978 - October 15, 2024

David C. Bowen Sr. 46, of Anderson, SC, passed away in his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 12:28am.

Born in Anderson, SC, on April 14, 1978, he was the son of Dlynn and Kathy Bowen; a member of Burdine Road Church of God and was a wonderful son, husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Ashley Bowen; sons: David C. Bowen Jr., and Kaman James Bowen; daughters: Ginger Marie Bowen and her children: Ryder, Ozzy, and Frankie Rose; Kathryn Michelle Bowen; brothers: Roger Bowen, his wife, Samantha Bowen and their children: Faith and Roger Bowen Jr., Adam Bowen, his wife, Gwen Bowen and their children; as well as his sisters: Heather Bowen and Alyssa Bowen.

He is predeceased by a sister: April Michelle Bowen.

His last words to all of us were “I love all y’all.”

The funeral service will be held at Burdine Road Church of God on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 2pm with Pastor Horace Lanier, Pastor D.J. Culpepper, Pastor John McGill and Pastor Dannie Norris officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 12pm to 2pm at the church.

The family will be at the home of his mother and father: Dlynn and Kathy Bowen.

The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
