David Michael Mullinax, 70, of Anderson, SC passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019.
Born on March 11, 1949 in Anderson, SC he was the son of the late James Wesley Mullinax and Selma Pearson Mullinax and the husband to the late Peggy Mullinax. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass, was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and of the Vets Helping Vets program. He also was a Veteran of the US Army 1st Cavalry Division.
He is survived by his sons: Ken Mullinax (Rachel) and Danny Mullinax (Tessa); sisters: Patricia Weldon (Alton) and Linda Mullinax; grandchildren: Kendal Gorsline (Ben), Dillon Mullinax, Maggie McCullough (Cody), and Jacob McClellan; and great grandchild: Zane McCullough.
In addition to his parents and spouse, he was predeceased by his brother: Samuel Mullinax; and sisters: Vicky Norris and Kathy Snipes.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church, 301 Rogers Street Anderson, SC 29625 and will be officiated by Dr. Steve Silvey. Burial will follow at MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10am – 11:30am, at the church.
Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
