Delbert William Carter, 39, of Anderson, SC, passed away at St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, SC on Friday, February 27, 2015.
Born in Fayetteville, NC; he was the son of the late James Thomas Carter and the late Bernice Elaine Jennings. He was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Church. Delbert had a big heart and was loved by everyone that met him.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Tara Carter; brothers: Brian Carter (Rachel), Andre Jennings, TJ Jennings (Hayley), and Joseph Jennings; sister Jessica Burriss (Jason); step-father Tim Jennings; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 officiated by Pastor Brent Lollis and Rev. Sam Duncan at 7pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday at the Mortuary from 5pm – 7pm.
The family will be at the home of his father-in-law, Guy Davis, 104 Lullwater Parkway, Anderson, SC.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
