Donald Carey, 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at his home.
Born on June 25, 1943 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Helen Peoples.
Donald is survived by his children: Scott Carey, Lynn Thomas, and Shawn Carey Bailey; half-brother: Ray Hall; as well as eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his son: Eugene Carey.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday from 2pm to 3:30pm at the Mortuary.
