Donna McCurry Blackwell July 7, 1964 - March 28, 2023

Donna McCurry Blackwell, 58, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Iva Post Acute.

Born in Anderson, SC, on July 7, 1964; she was the daughter of Andrea Richey and the late Charles ‘Butch’ and Connie McCurry.  Donna was known as a lady that loved her family and friends.  She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her daughters:  Darrah Williamson (Nik) and Deidre Blackwell (Corey); brother, Louie Cavanaugh; sisters:  Shannon Craft Roland and Jennifer Cavanaugh; grandchildren:  Racer and Rallye Williamson, Ryder Cushman, and Ruger LeCroy; nieces and nephews:  Sheldon and Chandler Craft and Kyleah and Lakan McLees; and her best friend, Donna Scarborough.

She is predeceased by her grandmother, Betty King McCurry.

A time of visitation will be held at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel, on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 4pm – 6pm.

The family will be at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Nik and Darrah Williamson.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
