Donnie ‘Don’ H. Reece, 68, of Anderson, SC passed away on July 10, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Catachee, SC to the late Bill and Lois McGuire Reece; he was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple and a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by a daughter Tessa Reece Davenport (Kevin) and their children Austin and Abby; daughter Natalie Reece Wood (Chris) and their children Kalee and Aden; brothers: James ‘Spank’ Reece (Patsy) and Kenneth Reece (Barbara); sisters: Loretta Cox, Eveline Spearman, and Pansy Mullinax.
In addition to his parents; he is also predeceased by siblings: Billy Joe Reece, Jerry Reece and Edith Cochran.
Services will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 3pm officiated by Rev. Sam Duncan at Sosebee Mortuary, Downtown Chapel with private burial to follow.
The family will be at the home of the niece Stevenia Brothers, in Pendleton, SC, and will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Mortuary on Sunday from 2pm – 3pm.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
