Donnie Ray Saxon, 80, of Starr SC, passed away on June 2, 2022, at his home.
Born in Anderson SC on February 27, 1942, he was the son of the late Olin Crane Saxon and Allie Mae Saxon. Donnie was an avid bowler in Anderson. He was also a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam.
He is survived by his daughter: Lisa Albertson (Jerry); sister: Nancy Wiley; and granddaughter: Summer Albertson.
A visitation will take place at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 11am to 12pm.
A chapel service will follow the visitation at the mortuary on Monday, June 6, at 12pm and will be officiated by Pastor Phil Sears. A private internment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson SC.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
