Eddie Lee King, 58, of Starr, SC passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at his residence.
Born in Anderson, SC on August 3, 1965, he was the son of the late James Rudolph King and Catherine Patterson King Owens and was the husband to Ginger Sue King for over 37 years. Eddie was a loving husband and father. He was an industrial maintenance technician and enjoyed helping people. He loved being outdoors, riding his Harley, and off-roading in his 4-wheel drives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons: James Michael King and Brandon Charles King (Meagan); sisters: Vickie Gambrell (Jimmy) and Gloria Robinson (Ray); brothers: Jeff King and Rickie King (Natalie); and numerous aunts and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Wednesday July 24, 2024, at New Life Christian Center 603 Pearman Dairy Rd Anderson, SC 29625 officiated by Pastor Kiki Tant.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 3pm to 4pm on Wednesday July 24, 2024, at the church.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
