Edith ‘Belle’ Felker December 30, 1922 - February 6, 2023

Edith ‘Belle’ Felker, 100, a longtime resident of Honea Path, SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 6, 2023.

Born on December 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James Andrew and Mamie Smith Harter and was married to the late Wilton Felker.  She was retired from Chiquola Manufacturing, Honea Path, and a member of First Assembly of God, Honea Path.   Belle was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Horne; and her greatest joy was her grandchildren:  Pam Wright (Patrick), Mechelle Doolittle (Jack), Michael Horne (Janice), and Barry Horne (Kelli); as well as her eight great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband; she is also predeceased by her son, Derald Gilmer; son-in-law, Mickey Horne; and 9 brothers and sisters.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 2pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel, officiated by Rev. Homer Gilmer and Rev. Bob Koenigsmann.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday at the Mortuary from 12:30pm – 2pm.

Memorials can be made to the First Assembly of God, 5 Green Street, Honea Path, SC 29654.

The family will be at the residence.

Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory, South Chapel, is assisting the family.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 2pm at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel, officiated by Rev. Homer Gilmer and Rev. Bob Koenigsmann.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday at the Mortuary from 12:30pm – 2pm.
