Elmer Elrod Jr “Sam,” 70, of Iva, SC, passed away on Sunday December 27, 2015 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born on October 17, 1945, he was the son of the late Nellie and Elmer Elrod Sr and husband to Freddie Elrod.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Pamela Bane and Connie Edmondson-Sanders; Brother: Tom Elrod; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Matthew Samuel Elrod Sr.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm Monday December 28, 2015 at the First Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 9511 Abbeville Hwy, Iva, SC 29655. The service will be officiated by Rev. Brandon McManus and Rev. John Potter.
The family will be at the home.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
