Esther Lee Rogers Finley, 91, of Anderson SC, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Southern Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Born on February 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Welborn Cecil and Eunice Caldwell Rogers and the wife to the late Gordon Oakley Finley.
She is survived by her sons: Welborn “Sunny” Finley (Betty), Charles Finley, Steve Finley; brothers: Wilborn Cecil Rogers, Roy Cleveland Rogers; sister: Ruth Dooley; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her sons: Gordon Oakley Finley Jr, Wade Boyd Finley, Duryl Finley; daughters: Linda Herndon, Vickie Adams; brothers: Lyman Rogers, Alvin “Red” Rogers, Ralph David “Bud” Rogers; sisters: Beatrice Webb and Edith Moats.
Funeral services will be held at Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 3pm with Rev. Roger Guinn officiating.
Visitation will be following the service at the Mortuary.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory South Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
