Faye grew up in the Anderson area and was a homemaker for most of her married life. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was Nanny to everyone and she cherished her family. She was a fantastic cook and spent many hours in the kitchen making sure everyone’s favorite meals were prepared with love and that extra seasoning that cannot be found in a bottle. She enjoyed mountain trips to the Gatlinburg area with her husband but by far her favorite place to be was on the beach. She was an avid yardsaler and finding a good bargain brought her happiness and she knew all the good spots. Sometimes arriving at a sale even before the people holding the sale had time to be set up, take a quick look and then off to the next one. She was content on the lake fishing for hours. She could catch, clean and fry up some of the best tasting fish you could eat. She and Aubrey lived on Lake Secession for a time but being closer to her family was the heart of who she was, so they moved back to Anderson settling in their current home in Homeland park over 35 years ago. She loved her church family at Oakdale Baptist Church where she attended faithfully and worked at times in the Nursery program prior to her health decline. Her family takes comfort in their grief knowing she is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved daughter Sandra who she loved so deeply as well as her Daddy and Mother who she missed so much in the last few years of her life. We know she is spending time in the presence of her Lord rejoicing with all her loved ones that went before and waiting for all of us to join her in due time.
A funeral service will be held at Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 2pm officiated by Pastor David Blizzard. Burial will be held at South Lawn Memorial Gardens.
