Gaine C. Owens, 71, of Iva, SC, passed away on Thursday May 7, 2020 at the Anmed Health Medical Center.
Born in Pickens Co, SC on October 22, 1948, he was the son of the late Jim Bob and Bessy Owens and husband to Marth Owens. Gaine was a Veteran of the US Army, having served in Vietnam.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children: Tracy Owens, Kevin Reece and Teresa Brickle; Brothers: Billy, Ed and Marvin Owens; as well as three grandsons and two granddaughters.
Friends are welcome to visit Sosebee Mortuary Iva Chapel, Monday May 11, 2020 from 1pm to 5pm where Gaine will be available for friends to pay their respects.
Due to concerns with Covid-19, a private funeral service will be held for the family.
Flowers are accepted but you are also welcome to make donations in Mr. Owens’ name to the Iva First Baptist Church.
The Sosebee Mortuary and Crematory Iva Chapel, will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
